At David Barton Elementary, we inspire a spirit of discovery where students explore new ideas, tackle challenging concepts, and develop greater independence in their learning journey. Our standards-based grading system provides clear feedback on student progress. At the same time, our PBIS framework ensures students remain Respectful, Responsible, and Safe as they navigate more complex academic and social situations. We believe in empowering our elementary learners through collaborative partnerships between educators, families, and community, creating an environment where curiosity leads to meaningful discoveries and prepares students for continued success.
